It's a simple game where you can do what you want. The physics of the world responds to your interactions in a relatively realistic (albeit wobbly) way. You control your arms directly with the triggers to grab onto things. Because of the tactile nature of all this, the fun players have in games they make up for themselves as much as the missions or challenges the developer has created.

As you explore the world you discover new locations that offer different things to do. Perhaps you'll decide to work as a pizza delivery guy. Or how about a nuclear waste disposal person? Then there are jobs in the hospital or rubbish collection. If you don't want to work like this, how about getting a pet or collecting things to put in the museum?

To progress you need to find a way to earn money. This then lets you go shopping for clothes or vehicles. Get enough money and you can buy your own house. Don't fancy a house? How about a shack in the woods? Too rustic? Sounds like you need your own mansion with a helipad.

The result is a huge playground to explore, things to do, vehicles to race and houses to decorate. It's a lot like a Roblox game, but with just four people you know and without all the in-game purchases. It's a lovely game that brings the creative joy of the playground into the living room.

Insights to ensure your child's gaming experience remains safe and enjoyable

Internet Matters Recommends

Consider time investment

Adventure games often take a long time to finish. Encourage regular breaks to get moving, rest their eyes and balance their time with other activities.

Nurture key skills

Many adventure games incorporate problem solving and critical thinking, important skills for school, work and more offline. Talk to them about their game to see how it supports them and their goals.

Build resilience

Encourage children to take risks with their characters in-game to safely learn potential consequences. Talk about what might happen outside of the game and why it's important to keep those risks in-game only. While playing, encourage them to think about innovative risks their character can take.

Skill level

Suggested by Family Gaming Database

You need to be able to move around the world and hold buttons down to grab onto things. However, younger players can still enjoy messing around even if they don't progress the missions to earn money.
